Our Executive Team
Tim Scott, CEO, Pionair New Zealand
Joining Pionair in 1995 as a commission salesperson, Tim was part of the initial team establishing the DC3 in Christchurch. 1997 saw Tim taking up the role of CEO, introducing Pionair to markets in the US, offering private air tours of NZ and as demand grew, Australia. He has enjoyed being a part of Pionair’s growth and is proud that travellers consistently enjoy the experience Pionair and its world-wide partners provide, with passenger feedback becoming the driving force of the adventure travel company. He hopes to see you onboard.
Alistair Johnston, CEO, Pionair Australia
Alistair first joined Pionair when it was based in Queenstown in
1992 as an Ag Cat Pilot and DC3 Co-Pilot. He has held many roles since
then including DC3 Captain, CV-580 First Officer, Financial Controller
and Maintenance Controller settling into his current role as Managing
Director overseeing the operation of the Australian and New Zealand
offices. Prior to joining the company Alistair was farming for many
years, during that time he owned smaller private aircraft, Auster,
Cessna 180, Ag-Wagon, for the purpose of agricultural topdressing and
spraying.
